Rose Emer came to Bohemia with her family in 1925. She was 16 at the time.  She has lived in Bohemia ever since then and has been an active part of its life. She serves on the Board of the Historical Society.

On May 25, 2009, Rose celebrated her 100th birthday with her family and many friends at a party at the Bohemia Fire House.

After a full life, Rose passed away on October 10, 2009.  May she rest in peace.
